If you are looking for a church that you can truly call home, look no further! We are an intimate church located in the tight-knit community of Sunland, CA.
We hold worship service every Sunday morning at 10:30am. Please join us at 10:00am for fellowship (and free coffee & donuts!)
What To Expect When You Visit
Arriving at Sunland Neighborhood Church, you will enter into our main parking lot. There is also handicapped parking available in our North lot around the corner of the building.
When you first walk through the door at expect to be warmly greeted by one of our Connection Desk staff in the Lobby. The Connection Desk is the Information Hub for our church - if you ever have a question or would like to get involved, this is the place to be! There's always something going on, so you will certainly see lots of flyers and signup sheets there. You may also choose to fill out a connection card, letting us know if you are interested in receiving our weekly bulletin email or any other information about our church. This helps us to know how we can best serve you, whether it be through prayer, information, or just a follow-up email to thank you for joining us. If you are new, please let the Connection Desk staff know so that they can give you a welcome packet - our free gift to you!
As you make your way into the Sanctuary, don't forget to check out the Fellowship Hall. This is where we love to get together and catch up before service over coffee & donuts. This is also where many of our potlucks and special events are held... it's not called the Fellowship Hall for no reason!
Worship & Teaching
Service starts at 10:30 am, and usually ends by 12:00pm.
The music selection ranges from more contemporary songs to traditional hymns played by one of the highlights of our church, our wonderful Worship Team!
We have the lyrics to the songs on screen and you are welcome
(& encouraged!) to sing with us. Once the music ends, our pastor presents a message from God's Word. (For more information on what we believe, see our Statement of Faith.) In response to what God is teaching us, we continue our time of worship through music, giving and prayer. Giving and prayer are done without pressure - they are available for you, but not required.
After the service, you are always welcome to stay to get to know some people, and let us get to know you. Unless there is an after church potluck, in which case we encourage you to stay to enjoy some yummy food!
