New is good, and we know it does carry with it some unknowns. We’ve all been “new” at one point and we hope here you’ll find helpful information that communicates a little about Sunland Neighborhood Church and what you can expect when you stop by. If you have any questions as you browse drop us a note, we’d love to hear from you!

Hello

You’re thinking about checking out Sunland Neighborhood Church this Sunday. First of all, “Welcome!” Second, I’d love to walk you through a Sunday so you can know what to expect when you get here.
When you drive into the SNC parking lot, you notice a small parking lot as you first come into the Enter driveway. There are Handicapped spots in this lot. If you continue around the corner you will find a larger parking lot with some spots reserved just for you in the front row.
When you arrive, come on into our lobby (if you are parked in the main parking lot), you should see our Connection Desk. This is the info hub of SNC (aside from our website).
At this point, if you have children, you will want to go straight ahead (up the small staircase in the lobby) toward the Children’s Corner. The nursery will be the first door on the left after you exit that door. The next rooms of interest are the restrooms. Followed by the SNC Kids room (CE-8 see map) for Kindergarten through 5th grade. If you take a right down the stairs and go straight through the doorway, you will notice our patio (next to the Fellowship Hall). Once you are in the patio, take an immediate left and you will find the room for our precious pre-schoolers (CE-7).  Please check your children in and get them ready for a fun, secure morning where they will learn Scripture, grow in their understanding of the character of God and get to know other kids in a Christ-centered environment.
If you don’t have kids, or after you’ve dropped your kids off, you can head through the lobby to our Worship Center or the Fellowship Hall (immediately behind the Worship Center) for some coffee and donuts.

Worship / Teaching

Once inside, look for an usher who will give you a bulletin and sermon booklet. Please fill out the card on the bulletin, let us know that you were here, and get some info on what’s coming up soon. We try to start promptly at 10:30 am. The music ranges from more contemporary to traditional with our Worship Band (usually including guitar, bass, vocals, drums and sometimes keyboard). You are welcome to sing with us, we put the song lyrics on the screen for you to join in. Our pastor will present a message from God’s Word. In response to what God is teaching us, we continue our time of worship through music, giving and prayer. Giving and prayer are done without pressure, they are available for you, but not expected. The whole gathering takes just under an hour and a half. We always encourage you to hang around for a few minutes and get to know some people.
